Heat a medium size sauté pan on low-medium heat. Add Vegan Butter and Olive Oil to heated pan. Add sliced onions and salt to pan and sauté for 20 minutes. Tossing onions occasionally. Add Balsamic Vinegar, and stir. Add Maple syrup and stir occasionally for additional 4-6 minutes.
1 T Vegan butter of choice, or coconut oil
1 T Olive oil
2 Red (Yellow or White) onion, sliced ¼” – ½” thickness
½ t Sea Salt
2 T Balsamic Vinegar
2 T Maple Syrup
