Store of the Week: Apple Valley Natural Foods

Today we’d like to announce Apple Valley Natural Foods as our Store of the Week! Apple Valley Natural Foods is a unique seven store chain, standing out amongst the crowd as an exclusively vegetarian operation!

They uphold their mission statement, which centres on the belief that a healthy lifestyle is maintained through regular activity, paired with a balanced vegetarian diet that is rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts and grains. As such, they’ve become a dependable provider of excellent meatless products as well as expert knowledge for the veggie-lover in everyone.

Apple Valley has experienced tremendous growth; having expanded throughout Michigan with additional locations in Indiana and Illinois, they’re a long way away from their humble beginnings (93 years ago!!) as “The College Supply Store”, in the basement of Emmanuel Missionary College.

From one location that served students, faculty and staff to seven branches that now serve the ever-growing general public, Apple Valley’s evolution is definitely worthy of recognition.
