Whole Foods Market recently announced its selection of Sol Cuisine Veggie Breakfast Patties for a US National launch, adding a vegan, Non-GMO, wheat and gluten free, Kosher and Halal option to its Frozen Breakfast category. Sol Cuisine, leading Canadian vegetarian foods manufacturer, will begin retailing its Veggie Breakfast Patties in four new Whole Foods regions starting May 2012: Rocky Mountain, Mid Atlantic, Pacific Northwest and South. Whole Foods Western Canada (Pacific Northwest Region) already retails this item and Eastern Canada (Midwest Region) will begin retailing this item in May/June 2012.

Sol Cuisine’s Veggie Breakfast Patties offer all the flavor and texture of a pork sausage, minus the cholesterol. One Sol Cuisine patty (38g) contains 2g fat, compared with cooked pork sausage patties (38g), which contain 10g fat. Saturated fat free and made with heart healthy soy, Sol Cuisine’s patties boast 7g protein, 2g fat and 60 calories per serving.
