Blogger of the Month: Adele a.k.a. “Vegie Head”

Warning: Contents of this blog entry will lead to severe cravings for veggie foods. Proceed with caution as prolonged exposure to the visuals below will cause excessive and uncontrollable salivation for which there is one single sure: Yielding to temptation.

We learned the hard way.

Vegie Head Website

Let’s just say that 9 am on a Wednesday morning was a challenging time to stumble upon Vegie Head’s blog. Browsing for veggie-inspiration led us to this site and within seconds we were hooked. By 5 pm we were racing to the grocery store. You’ll understand soon enough.

Adele is the Australian genius behind Vegie Head, a vegan recipe blog that is out of this world. We even had to write our feature in short intervals to distract ourselves from the thoughts of her recipes! According to her, a “Vegie Head” is an adventurous foodie in the realm of plant-based diets, a lover of healthy eats, and of course, environmentally conscientious and animal friendly. You don’t have to be a vegan to appreciate her dishes, though we’re convinced she can convert any steadfast carnivore into a “vegie  head”, so to speak. We just love how Adele pulls gastronomical gems from a variety of cultural backgrounds and then adds a distinct touch to make them her own.
